Monica Rojas is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Policy Fellow and elementary school teacher at Colemon Elementary Academy in Chicago. She serves on her school’s instructional leadership team and as an English Language Program teacher. Monica previously mentored new teachers and led her school’s community garden team. Beyond her school, she serves on the State Educator Preparation and Licensure Board. Monica earned a BA in education from Trinity Christian College.
