Ronique McDaniel is a Teach Plus Maryland Teaching Policy Fellow. She teaches 2nd grade general education at Adelphi Elementary, where she chairs the home school connection committee, social studies department, and leads the new teacher’s academy. Ronique is a member of the National Education Association’s Teacher Leadership Initiative and has served as a member of the rigorous literacy strategy team for Prince George’s County. She has previously taught both 2nd and 3rd grade and served as a school-based professional development lead teacher at Waldon Woods Elementary School. Ronique graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Elementary Education and received her MEd in Early Childhood Education from Towson University.
