Caroline Rose is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow. Caroline is an 8th grade English language arts teacher at Boston Collegiate Charter School in Dorchester, Massachusetts. With a small committee of faculty and staff, she manages the Fund for Teaching Excellence to support innovation and promote retention of teachers within her school. She is also the faculty lead of the Middle School Student Council, where she supports students in their efforts to foster community. Previously, Caroline taught middle school Latin at a charter school in Washington D.C., where she also coached high school cross country and track. Caroline began her teaching career as a Fulbright ETA in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. She earned a BA in Black studies and classics at Amherst College and an MEd at Harvard Graduate School of Education in education leadership, organizations, and entrepreneurship.
