Mary Rose Donahue is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Colorado Senior Policy Fellow. She teaches 10th grade and advanced 10th grade language arts and 9th grade Advancement Via Individual Determination at Boulder High School in Boulder, Colorado. Mary Rose sponsors the Women’s Empowerment, Dungeons & Dragons, Himalayan Culture, and Chinese Culture clubs, and advises students in the Boulder Arts Focus Pathway Theater track. She co-sponsors the Boulder High School theater department, is part of the NoRedInk cohort, and leads a Freshman Seminar course. Mary Rose is a panel moderator through the Colorado University Conference on World Affairs. She received the Lori Anne Lowe Endowed Teaching Award (2019), was named Pikes Peak Education Advocate of the Year (2019), and was 4A Diving Coach of the Year (2019). Mary Rose earned her BA in English literature with minors in film studies and education and MAT, both from Colorado College.
