Abbey Rosenbaum is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Teacher-Led Community Connections Network Member. She is an Advanced Placement (AP) Language and Composition, and Gifted and Talented teacher leader at JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas. Abbey is currently on the Richardson Independent School District’s Discipline Committee, is ACT-Writing Certified, and is her district’s first and only Abydos Learning International’s Diamond Trainer. She began her teaching career in 2002, working with students who struggled with state testing. She previously taught 7th grade Pre-AP Language Arts and AP Literature and Composition. Abbey earned her BA in English with a focus area on grammar, language, and linguistics from The Ohio State University and MA in American literature from Southern New Hampshire University.
