Darrin Ross is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow and secondary English teacher at United Junior-Senior High School in Monmouth, Illinois. He received the Award for Excellence for an Early Career Educator from the Illinois State Board of Education (2025). Darrin is a Golden Apple State Scholar, local union treasurer, and Early Career Representative for Region 17 of the Illinois Education Association. He earned a BA in English education from Western Illinois University.
