Ruth Gallegos is a Teach Plus New Mexico Teaching Policy Fellow. Ruth teaches 6th grade Language Arts at Kirtland Elementary School. She previously worked as a Registrar for the University of New Mexico and Director of a Distance Learning Site for Old Dominion University in Virginia. Ruth graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BS in Elementary Education and an MA in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Multicultural Education.
