Salvador Limón is a 2020-2021 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow in his 11th year teaching. Salvador is a proud special education teacher and student advocate at Alliance Kory Hunter Middle School in South Central, Los Angeles. Salvador is the current special education coordinator and is responsible for the coaching and development of three resource teachers on site. He serves as Chair in the School Site Advisory Council representing his school in the Alliance-wide board meetings. Salvador is a former Teach for America corps member and is proud to consider himself a longtime educator who has found purpose in teaching and serving communities forced marginalized. He holds a BA in Political Science and Latin American Studies from University of California, Berkeley and his MA in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University.
