Angela Sangha-Gadsden is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator is a high school English educator, a writing ambassador for the English Department, and co-sponsor of the South Asian African Middle Eastern Student Alliance at Evanston Township High School in Evanston. She focuses on helping teachers foster and facilitate an inclusive and celebratory writing community of collaboration, responsiveness, and care for students to continue to grow their authentic and powerful voices. She is a Teach Plus Policy Fellowship alumna and a member of the executive board for her local union’s Teacher’s Council. She earned her BA in Secondary Teaching of English and MEd in Instructional Leadership – Educational Policy Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
