Sara Lemmon is a Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellow. Sara teaches 6th grade earth science at McAuliffe International School in Denver, Colorado, where she is the senior team lead for science and engineering and sponsor of the 8th grade mentorship program S.H.I.N.E (Showing How Inclusivity Nurtures Excellence). She previously taught at Peak to Peak Charter School and Westlake Middle School in Adams 12 School District. Sara graduated from CU-Boulder will a BA in Environmental Studies and received her MA in Secondary Reading from the University of Colorado Denver.
