Sarah La Due is a 2018-19 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Sarah teaches 7th grade English at Korematsu Middle School in the West Contra Costa, California. At Korematsu, she serves as English department chair, sits on the instructional leadership team, and is an elected member of the school site council. Prior to teaching, Sarah spent 10 year working in politics and policy for 10 years. From 2010 to 2014, she served as Assistant Director of Public Affairs for NARAL Pro-Choice California. She earned a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and completed her credentialing coursework in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University’s Graduate School of Education.
