Sarah Slater is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and is the director of the Harbor City School, a nonprofit preschool in East Boston. Sarah has been working in the field of early childhood education since 2009 as a classroom teacher, assistant director, and director of a program. Sarah graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in education, and received her MEd Initial Licensure (PreK–2) from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Sarah holds her teaching license for Prek-2 as well as her early childhood education director certificate.
