Sarah White is a Teach Plus Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow. She teaches 5th grade at Minooka Intermediate School, where she serves as a mentor for new teachers and works on the Indian Pride and Family Learning Night committees to create unique incentives and opportunities for students and families. Sarah has been named an “Owl-Standing” Staff Member, is a member of the district’s benchmark assessment team, and has served on the education and staff development committees. She graduated from Augustana College with a BA in Elementary Education and History and received her MAEd as a Reading Specialist from Olivet Nazarene University.
