Allison Schaefer is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow and a kindergarten teacher at Greeley Elementary School in Winnetka. She is a leader in learning through play and literacy development through the Daily 5 system. Allison was a Contract Action Team Member with the Chicago Teachers Union and is a National Board Certified Teacher. She holds a BS in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University, Bloomington and an MEd in Teaching and Learning: Best Practices from University of St. Francis, Joliet, Illinois.
