Katherine Schallhorn is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow. She is a K-5 special education teacher, Autism Spectrum Disorder Coach, and Links Coordinator at Beaverton Elementary in Beaverton, Michigan. Katherine teaches independence and advocates for students with disabilities while promoting inclusion with peer-to-peer interactions. She earned her BA in special education with a Cognitive Impairment endorsement from Central Michigan University.
