Shawaun Scott is a 2023-2024 Michigan Teacher Leadership Collaborative Member and a 1st grade teacher at Edison Elementary in Detroit, Michigan. She is a proud product of the DPSCD brand and proudly wears it. Shawaun is the coordinator of the Student Council and the Parent Teacher Home Visit program. In recent years, Shawaun was the President of the Future Farmers of America which indicates her strong passion for Horticulture and Floriculture. Shawaun studied undergraduate and graduate studies at Eastern Michigan University where she obtained her collegiate degrees. From this wonderful experience, she has educated an amplitude of children between Michigan and Maryland. She continues to strive towards excellence while invigorating her scholars.
