Melissa Scutt is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Independence Mission Schools Teacher Leadership Project member and is an 8th grade/middle school English language arts teacher at St. Raymond of Penafort Catholic School. Melissa is a member of St. Raymond’s Leadership committee and the high school coordinator to support middle school students and their families to better prepare for high school. Melissa is in her second year as a Cadre Leader, she is a member of the Haitian Catholic Community of Philadelphia, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Young Adults, the FIAT program for high school girls, and more. Melissa earned her BA in education and organizational development from Temple University.
