Anthony Segura is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus California Senior Policy Fellow and preschool special education teacher at Rose Salgado Elementary in San Jacinto, California. He advises the Friday Night Live Kids program, where he develops leadership skills and fosters community building on campus, and serves on the equity team, working to ensure fairness and inclusivity. Anthony was awarded Riverside County Teacher of the Year (2026). He is a National Board Certified Teacher and Grosvenor Teacher Fellow with National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions. Previously, Anthony served as a Global Learning Fellow with the National Education Association Foundation. He earned a BA in child development, as well as a MA and teaching credential in early childhood special education, from California State University, Northridge.
