Shauna Watson is a Teach Plus Maryland Teaching Policy Fellow. She teaches Spanish level 2 honors at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, where she also sponsors the Spanish Honor Society. Shauna has served as the world language department chair since 2012 and is currently serving as a liaison to the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) department where she is a resource to the parents of native Spanish speakers and their children. She has previously taught earth science and Spanish levels 1-3 at Hannah More School, a non-public school with a complete population of special education students. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in Physiology and Neurobiology and certification in Spanish. She received her MS in secondary education from McDaniel College and her Administrator 1 certification from Catholic University.
