Danielle Shaw is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and Young Five’s teacher at Hamilton Elementary School in Kentwood, Michigan. She has contributed to school improvement committees, coached robotics and Girls on the Run, coordinated Scholastic Book Fairs, designed school yearbooks, and mentored new teachers. Danielle began her teaching career in Rockford, Illinois, where she taught 2nd grade. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with an emphasis in social studies and MEd in instruction and curriculum, specializing in educational differentiation, from Grand Valley State University.
