Sheena Salcido is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Senior Policy Fellow who teaches 8th grade U.S. History teacher at Ector College Prep Academy in Odessa, Texas. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Ector County chapter of the Texas State Teachers Association, as a member of the NEA Hispanic Caucus, and as a member of the Women & Minority Leadership Conference. She is a dedicated advocate for students and maintains a focus on equity in the classroom to ensure the best quality of education for all students. Sheena graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Political Science.
