Cecilia Shields is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Independence Mission Schools Teacher Leadership Project member and a pre-K teacher at St. Helena- Incarnation School. As an early childhood development educator for nearly 25 years, she has also served as a teacher mentor for the network’s pre-K and kindergarten teachers throughout her schools’ network. Cecilia is a long-time member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She earned her BA in early childhood development from Holy Family University.
