Shivani Goyal is a Teach Plus Indianapolis Teaching Policy Fellow. Shivani teaches Kindergarten at Clarence Farrington Elementary, where she is the lead grade level teacher. She has served on her school’s advisory committee which focuses on increasing social and emotional development in the classroom, and is a former Indianapolis Policy and Advocacy Summer Fellow with the Leadership for Educational Equity. She is a current mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Indiana. Shivani has previously interned with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and Youth Villages. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA in Psychology and Spanish and from Marian University with a MA in Teaching.
