Hakan Simsek is a 2024-2025 Harmony School Leader Advisory Cabinet Member. He is the Assistant Area Superintendent of Programs in West Texas, where he continues trying to make a positive impact in education. Hakan is a dedicated and experienced educator with a career spanning over a decade in various leadership roles. He began his journey as a math teacher and then assistant principal at HSA Lubbock (2007-2010). Later, he served as campus principal across Dallas-Fort Worth, El Paso, Lubbock, and Houston (2010-2020). His leadership is marked by a strong commitment to academic excellence and fostering a positive school culture. Hakan holds two master’s degrees, one in mathematics from Texas Tech University and another in educational leadership from University of Texas at Tyler.
