Abby Solano is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and elementary public school teacher in Philadelphia. She focuses on children’s humor, play, and elevating student and teacher voice in equity initiatives. Abby earned a BA in elementary education from Temple University, MS in special and bilingual education from City College of New York, and MA in children’s literature, media, and culture from the University of Glasgow.
