Symone Solomon is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member and K-2 special education paraprofessional at Clairton City School District in Clairton, Pennsylvania. She supports classroom teachers by providing educational and physical support for students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Symone specializes in assisting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She received a medical assisting diploma from Everest Career institute and currently is attending Point Park University as part of Cohort 2 for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) BridgeUP Paraprofessional to Certified Special Education Teachers program.
