Sonia Plascencia is working on students’ transition from K-3rd to 4-5th grade. Sonia is currently a 3rd grade bilingual teacher at Hurley Elementary. At her previous school, she was part of the instructional leadership team, led grade level meetings, and planned and facilitated primary literacy meetings. She graduated from Chicago State University with a degree in Bilingual Education and received her Master’s in Reading from Concordia University.
