Victor Soria is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. Victor is a 12th grade academic language development and college prep English teacher at Grace Davis High School in Modesto, California. His focus is on ensuring a safe classroom environment where all students feel welcome and safe. He is part of his school’s leadership team and an Edtech coach for his school site. Victor is a Read 180 Teacher of the Year. In addition, his students were named Read 180 Student Winners. He earned his BA in English with a teaching English to speakers of other languages certificate and teaching credential from California State University, Stanislaus.
