Omega Soto is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus New Mexico Policy Fellow and who instructs grades 9-12 grades at Rocinante High School in Farmington, NM. Omega has been teaching at Rocinante High School for 3+ years, where she started as the physical education, health, career and technical, and business education teacher, and the Farmington Municipal School district for 6+ years. Omega has been active in Key Club International with students involved in many area volunteer opportunities. Omega holds a Level Three-B Administrator License, and a Level Three-A 6-12 Secondary Licensure, where she is endorsed in social studies, language arts, math, and other subjects. She has an Associate’s degree in Applied Science through San Juan Community College. Omega received her Bachelor’s in university studies and MPA from the University of New Mexico. During her first years of teaching, Omega attended SJC to gain access to an Alternative Licensure in teaching.
