Marissa Spight is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Chicago Change Agent. She is a veteran educator from Chicago Public Schools. She teaches special education at Harold Washington Elementary School and is part of the multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) and BH teams. Some of her titles include specialized services administrator, special education lead, consulting teacher, ISBE audit school level special education lead, instructional leadership team member, local school council representative, and Chicago Teachers Union delegate. Marissa is a proud product of Chicago Public Schools. She received her BS in Education from Eastern Illinois University. She earned her MEd in Educational Leadership with an English as a Second Language endorsement from American College of Education and a middle school endorsement from McKendree University.
