Suzanne Stillinger is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Senior Writing Fellow and an early childhood teacher leader and accessibility coordinator at New Village in Northampton, Massachusetts. She is a Teach Plus Massachusetts Senior Policy Fellow and an Educator’s Neighborhood cohort member with The Fred Rogers Institute at Saint Vincent College. She also facilitates the Massachusetts Regional Working Group for Defending the Early Years. She focuses on developing and implementing culturally and emotionally responsive anti-bias curriculum and practice with an emphasis on helping all children form a healthy sense of self and of their responsibilities as members of a larger community. She earned an AA in early childhood education from Greenfield Community College and graduated with a BA in psychology with highest honors from Smith College as an Ada Comstock Scholar. Suzanne’s work has been published in The Hechinger Report, The Daily Hampshire Gazette, Commonwealth Beacon, and What’s the Plus.
