Lonnie Strange is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and is a 5th-grade ELA and social studies teacher at Bobby G. Lester Elementary in Jacksonville. She firmly believes all students can find something they love about school and that communities can be changed when families feel connected to the education system. She is a former 5th and 6th-grade teacher and teacher leader at Flightline Academy at LRAFB. She earned a BA in history magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas, an MAT in secondary social studies, and an MA in history from the University of Arkansas.
