Stephanie Suerth is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow and instructional coach at Oak Park Elementary School District 97 in Oak Park, Illinois. She serves as a lead teacher mentor and member of the District Professional Learning Committee. She previously taught K-12 French and served as an Equity and Professional Learning Coordinator. Stephanie was named Bob Haisman Teacher of the Year (2017), a Golden Apple Nominee (2020), and received the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Those Who Excel Award for Meritorious Service (2023). She serves as Co-President of the Oak Park Teachers Association. She earned a BA in French and secondary education with a minor in history from Augustana College and MEd in curriculum and instruction with an advanced professional specialization in English as a Second Language from National Louis University.
