Susan Scroggins is a Teach Plus Indianapolis Teaching Policy Fellow. Susan teaches Pre-AP English 10, Reading and Composition II, and Yearbook at Herron High School where she also sponsors the amnesty community engagement club. Previously, Susan taught senior English and AP Language and Composition at Ben Davis High School, where she served as the AP-TIP IN Lead AP teacher and as a member of the textbook adoption committee and the National Honor Society selection committee. Susan received a Senior Choice Award for the Classes of 2013, 2014, and 2015 and was selected as a Top 30 Senior Influential Teacher in 2013. She graduated from Purdue University with a BA in English and Creative Writing and received her teaching certification in secondary English education from Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis.
