Jeff Swisher is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow, a high school American history and government teacher, Vice President of Indiana Council for the Social Studies, and a technologist at Morton High School in Hammond, Indiana. He is an experienced educator and technology expert, holding prominent roles across various educational institutions where he taught subjects ranging from American history to computer science, and even led extracurricular initiatives such as the Middle School Coding Club and Mock Trial. He served as the lead transition coordinator for the migration of Google Classroom to Schoology for the city of Hammond. Throughout his career, he has received multiple awards for his dedication to teaching and technology, such as the Borland Trainer of Year, BusinessObjects Trainer of Year, and NWI Times Teaching Award. He holds a BA in social studies education and an MA in American history from Purdue University. He also studied Computer Science and Mathematics at Taylor University.
