Jeff Swisher is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Indiana Senior Policy Fellow and social studies teacher at Griffith High School in Griffith, Indiana, where he teaches American government, world history, and Project Lead The Way digital electronics. He coaches the school’s Mock Trial program. Jeff previously taught social studies at Morton High School in Hammond. He serves as president of the Indiana Council for the Social Studies and was named Indiana American History Teacher of the Year (2024) and Caleb Mills Indiana History Teacher of the Year (2023). Jeff earned a BA in social studies education and MA in American history from Purdue University.
