Taiesha Fowler is a Teach Plus California and a Teach Plus Los Angeles Teaching Policy Fellow. Taiesha teaches 6th grade English and history at Paul Revere Charter Middle School in Los Angeles, where she also serves as the English department chair, the annual literary anthology coordinator, and a mentor teacher. Since 2000, Taiesha has served in elementary and middle schools as a teacher and literacy coach. Through the UCLA Writing Project and the Teach Plus TLPL Initiative, Taiesha has provided professional development for hundreds of teachers. She is a National Board Certified teacher, a LAUSD CCSS Writing Fellow, and a CCSS Lead Teacher. Taiesha earned a BS in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University and a Masters in Professional Writing from University of Southern California, as well as a multiple subject and English credential.
