Tameka Holcomb teaches 1st grade at Meridiana Elementary School in Alvin ISD. She previously taught pre-K-3rd grade at KIPP Houston Public Schools where she also was the grade level chair. Tameka served as curriculum writer and pre-K-3rd grade course leader for KIPP. She has been selected to serve on the educator standards advisory committee that will focus on reviewing and revising the EC-3 standards. Tameka graduated from Governors State University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and earned her MAT from Relay Graduate School of Education.
