Samantha Tees is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Texas Harmony Senior Teacher Advisory Cabinet Member and is the the campus coach for 4th-7th grade ELAR and Social Studies at Harmony School of Excellence-Houston. Samantha is also the Secondary ELAR Instructional Coach for the Houston North district where she supports teachers advancing their craft through data-driven feedback and instructional coaching as well as practice-based professional learning sessions. Samantha has been a mentor teacher, PLC leader, and member of campus ILT. She earned “Exemplary” designation for TIA, was awarded Teacher of the Year for her campus in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022; and was named HSA-Bryan’s “Most Student-Centered Teacher” in 2018. She earned her BA in English with a focus in Literature and Rhetoric, and an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction. Her certifications include Secondary English Language Arts and Reading and English as a Second Language.
