Brandi Thibodeaux is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. She is a 12th grade English language arts and Advanced Placement literature teacher, equity lead, and 12th Grade lead teacher at Alliance Ouchi High School in Los Angeles. Brandi focuses on culturally responsive practices, rigorous instruction, and equitable learning experiences. Previously, she taught 7th, 8th, 9th, and 11th grade English. Brandi received a $2,000 grant from Kinecta Federal Credit Union to start a literacy program at her school. She earned a BA in English with the single subject teaching option from California State University, Los Angeles, and MA in education from the University of Phoenix.
