Sherrilyn Thomas is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Bloomington Public Schools District 87 in Bloomington, Illinois. She focuses on meeting the varying needs of staff members so they can best support the needs of all students and is instrumental in facilitating the diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for district staff. Sherrilyn earned a BA in middle level education, and MS and EdD in educational administration and foundations from Illinois State University.
