Christina Thompson is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow and grades 6-7 literacy teacher at Denver Online Middle School in Denver. She helps students cultivate reading and writing skills to develop their literacy prowess, critical thinking, and enjoyment of reading. In Denver Public Schools, she has been an Academic Literacy Partner for both middle and high schools, Middle School Curriculum Specialist, Senior Team Lead focused on literacy program coaching, and member of various school governing boards. Christina began her teaching career in Louisiana teaching Advanced Placement Literature and Language courses and has since taught various grades 6-12. She earned her BA, MA, and MAT from Louisiana Tech University, and is pursuing a doctorate in educational equity from the University of Colorado, Denver.
