Tiffany Whitaker is a Teach Plus Maryland Teaching Policy Fellow. Tiffany is a middle school teacher and instructional coach at Harlem Park Elementary Middle School, where she teaches a project-based learning course to students in the morning, and supports new and veteran teachers in the afternoon. She serves as the union learning rep, testing coordinator, and cheerleading coach. Prior to joining Harlem Park in 2013, Tiffany spent three years as the District Success For All coordinator at the Baltimore City Public Schools, and ten years as a high school government teacher at Baltimore Talent Development High School (BTDHS). Tiffany was awarded the BTDHS Teacher of the Year Award in 2009, and was selected as an inaugural member of its teacher leaders program the following year. She holds a BA in History from the University of Michigan and an MA in Teaching from the Johns Hopkins University.
