Bailey Tighe is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow, and an 11th and 12th grade English teacher in Walpole, Massachusetts. As an equity advocate in her district, she provides training and support for faculty and students. Bailey is an active member of the district’s Equity Task Force, working closely with like-minded educators in the district to make the district more equitable for all students. She also co-hosts a podcast with other members of her district called Beyond The Classroom. She has completed certificate training in Diversity & Inclusion from eCornell and has completed Pacific Education Group’s Beyond Diversity I & II training. She earned her BS in Communication from Boston University, an MEd in Secondary Education with a focus on English from American International College, and is presently pursuing her EdD in Educational Leadership and Practice with a focus on Multicultural and Antiracist Education from Antioch University.
