Timothy Hilton is a 2021-22 Teach Plus California Senior Policy Fellow and is a teacher on special assignment focusing on coaching classroom management. Prior to this assignment, Timothy spent 10 years teaching World History and other Social Studies in South Los Angeles. Timothy holds a BA in History and an MA in Education from California State University Long Beach, in addition to a PhD in Education Policy from Claremont Graduate University, where he focused his research on teacher attrition and retention.
