Tracy Edwards is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus National Senior Writing Fellow. Tracy teaches in Southern Nevada. Tracy has been a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and department chair. She has also served as lead Curriculum Designer and Professional Development Specialist for DePaul University/Digital Youth Network in Chicago, where she assisted in the design and implementation of an online writing curriculum for elementary schools throughout the city. Tracy is a board member at the UNCF Las Vegas Chapter and Codeswitch Las Vegas. She earned her EdD from Pepperdine University in Learning Technologies. Tracy is an alumna of Teach Plus Nevada Policy Fellowship and has previously served as Senior Fellow with that program. Her op-eds have been published in ASCD Express, Education Week, Edutopia, Las Vegas Review-Journal, and What’s the Plus, among others.
