Kimberly Trotter is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and a Project Lead the Way teacher for 7th and 8th-grade students in Little Rock. Kimberly also serves as the Project Lead the Way team leader and a mentor teacher for novice teachers in the Little Rock School District. She empowers students to develop and apply in-demand, transportable skills by exploring real-world challenges in exciting and engaging ways. Kimberly was named an Oscar Washington Educator of the Year in 2023 and recorded a national teaching video for the Buck Institution while teaching in Nashville, Tennessee. The video is currently being used for training purposes for project-based learning. She earned her BS in child and family studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, an MEd in elementary education from Tennessee State University, and an EdD in reading specialty from Lipscomb University.
