Megan Tyler is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and high school social studies, English language arts, and electives teacher at Starkweather Academy in Plymouth, Michigan. She serves as a building union representative, mentor teacher, and school leader, while co-chairing the graduation committee and serving on the school improvement team. Megan previously taught social studies in Maricopa, Arizona, where she was the social studies department head. She is a Plymouth-Canton Education Association (PCEA) Executive Board member and co-chairs both the action team and membership committees within the PCEA. Megan earned an AA in secondary English education from Oakland University, and BA in secondary education with a history emphasis and MEd in curriculum and instruction from Arizona State University.
