Ugochi Emenaha is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Senior Policy Fellow who teaches Dyslexia at Beck Junior High in Houston. A 14-year teaching veteran, Ugochi has served as a teacher, Dean of Students, Reading Specialist, and currently sponsors the campus Destination Imagination and BIPoC Student Union. Ugochi was awarded the Making a Difference in Education Award by her alma mater University of Michigan. She graduated from University of Michigan with a BA in English and received her MEd in ELL and Teaching from Loyola University in Chicago.
