Ulana Ainsworth is a Teach Plus Greater Boston Teaching Policy Fellow. She is a third year K0/K1 inclusion/English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher at the Lee Academy Pilot School in Dorchester, where she is the before school director and Build Our Kids Success lead trainer, and serves on the personnel subcommittee and the Sunshine committee. Ulana is triple licensed in Mild and Moderate Disabilities Pre-K-8, Elementary Education, and English as a Second Language (ESL). As an early childhood teacher, her goal has always been to teach children to have a growth mindset so they can build a strong sense of self. Ulana holds a BA in Education, with a Special Education minor, from Westminster College, in Pennsylvania. She was a 2012 Boston Teacher Resident in 2012 and earned her MEd from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
